If you have been around this forum long enough, you would realize that Eugene was a loyalist to Procede, and him dropping the label is big news in this forum...Many people, I for one respect the knowledge and informative information he brings to the table and this forum..This is shocking to me

As MOST people on here seem to be still waiting for V2 I think Shiv and Eugen should discuss whats going on here. I know in the end its non of our businesses why Eugen sold his but I think he would be the kind of guy to give his opinion on a forum he seems to care so much about. I hope both Eugen and Shiv chime in...

Cliff notes request: does this boost spike occur in stock cars or modded? I remember reading a thread where someone said whenever you decide to mod a turbo car it's a good idea to get a boost gauge, especially if the car isn't stock. It was made in reference to a boost spike as well IIRC.

Doh, I might have been unclear in my original post. Just in case... I meant stock as in everything else is stock besides the PROcede ie. no exhaust, IC, cat-delete etc.
So given a PROcede, does the boost spike occur on a car that has everything else stock, modded, or both? Sorry

For Eugene to opt out of Procede especially when he worked so hard on his bluetooth to Procede connect device for the V2 and ready for distribution, it makes me wonder even more....WHY????

It's actually more complicated than that. Boost spikes do happen in a stock car, but they are irrelevant. These are also seen when Scalbert, etc were measuring boost with a mechanical gauge. The boost spikes with the Procede v2.0.2 are very relevant. They are more than spikes. They are related to tuning in the context of the variable valve timing shift between 3-4K RPM (if I understand correctly). The overboost feature apparently complicated things for everyone, and especially concerned Eugen as people were seeing 16-17 PSI. These things seemed to be getting ironed out... then boom... Eugen sells his Procede. See the Boost Control thread for the long version. It's happening in stock or modded cars with the Procede.

Why would they close it out, we as a forum would like to understand the reasoning behind whats happening with a member of our forum who we respect their knowledge and mechanic of a turbo engine...Many people buy products based on what they have read and testimonials..

They close a lot of threads...back in the days everything about JB2 was closed...and to keep things under wrap, this one will be closed as well...
