This does not smell good, m, more from robertrinaustin @ http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=305859
"As I see it, and I am a former customer, Vishnu's biggest problem is two fold; they're repeatedly using inferior hardware and have a history of abandoning markets/ communities. I'm sure in 3 or 4 years, the Proceeds will be as worthless as his Unichips and Xedes. And, as I posted before, if Al and many others still make a nice living tuning EVOs and other cars while managing to contribute to the community, Vishnu could as well. However, they've chosen to abandon both this market and this community. Look how many questions there are in this forum about Vishnu products and find how many times anyone from Vishnu actually post. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful people on here, so Vishnu suport comes from its great customers. It's funny, when Vishnu debuted on the Subby scene, all the Mazda guys said just wait, he's only passing through. How right they've been. Vishnu, the ADD shop."

He's a businessman, he just does what he needs to do then move on to bigger things....once the GTR hits the street, you guys can kiss your support good bye for good. Not the most ethical thing to do, let your fans and clients hang dry like that, but it's business, and that's life.

lol I can't believe a thread about 1 procede user selling his procede... Eugen is a true celeb I can't wait for 2.02, who knows what maps the future will hold. I'm still all in! I know these guys and I talked to them a few hours ago, they're out testing, this is all they do. Something to be said for that~

the Evo forum has been bad mouthing Vishnu for awhile, he's still successful here...but i know what you mean, your clients are the backbone of your business. But as far as going out of your way to help your clients, esp. ones who already paid you, i don't see many businessmen doing that.

and blowing cars in the evo world.... hahah this is sooooooooooooo funny... i remember when i first joined the forums, and i gave shiv any greif, everyoine was quick to back him up like a god on here... one of my buddies' cousin had his engone blown by vishnu. same thing happend to vishnu on the evo forums. everyone loved shiv and vishnu, and after problems with products and some blown engoines, everyone hated him.... do i sense a repeat of history coming??? lol

Wow... This forum moves fast. Step away from the computer for a few hours and look what happens. To make a long story short, it appears that Eugen and i had different interpretations of a datalog and opinions on how a turbo engine should be tuned. If its okay with him, I can post up the email exchange from earlier this morning. But only if he gives me permission.
shiv Ps. There were no 20psi boost spikes involved. It had to so with boost targeting at partial throttle (sub 14psi). Im still a bit confused over it but perhaps others can offer their input. |

No comment from Vishnu .. no surprise. They are reeling. shiv has read this thread no doubt and realizes he's in trouble. I have waited for the v2 for months at #165 and nothing. I uninstalled my 1.47 while I got my oil cooler installed. I am leaving it it off and I am 50-50 on whether I will sell the whole thing when v2 arrives.
I wouldn't be surprised if the price of a used v2 on this site is half of a new product due to what I believe will be many folks trying to sell. I am getting tired of no customer service. Don't they get it?
