This does not smell good, m, more from robertrinaustin @ http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=305859

"As I see it, and I am a former customer, Vishnu's biggest problem is two fold; they're repeatedly using inferior hardware and have a history of abandoning markets/ communities. I'm sure in 3 or 4 years, the Proceeds will be as worthless as his Unichips and Xedes. And, as I posted before, if Al and many others still make a nice living tuning EVOs and other cars while managing to contribute to the community, Vishnu could as well. However, they've chosen to abandon both this market and this community.

Look how many questions there are in this forum about Vishnu products and find how many times anyone from Vishnu actually post. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful people on here, so Vishnu suport comes from its great customers.

It's funny, when Vishnu debuted on the Subby scene, all the Mazda guys said just wait, he's only passing through. How right they've been. Vishnu, the ADD shop."

Your not getting the point. As a businessman your business is your clients. You treat them bad then you have no clients. When a company does wrong it will spread faster through word of mouth than if a company does right.

We are off topic here though. I just wanted to share the past of Vishnu, so you are all not shocked again.

Many ppl will chase him wherever forum his is at if he does something to us like that, including me , and stop the shit they are doing. Look at my previous post, ppl bought their xede for $900, now is worth $20 becuase they dont offer support support anymore.

lol I can't believe a thread about 1 procede user selling his procede... Eugen is a true celeb I can't wait for 2.02, who knows what maps the future will hold. I'm still all in! I know these guys and I talked to them a few hours ago, they're out testing, this is all they do. Something to be said for that~

You would think if the boost spike was of very big concern we would see a post right away letting us know to go back to v1 while v2 gets worked on.

I wonder if there's a loud sucking noise as people cancel their V2 orders.

the Evo forum has been bad mouthing Vishnu for awhile, he's still successful here...but i know what you mean, your clients are the backbone of your business. But as far as going out of your way to help your clients, esp. ones who already paid you, i don't see many businessmen doing that.

Wow... This forum moves fast. Step away from the computer for a few hours and look what happens. To make a long story short, it appears that Eugen and i had different interpretations of a datalog and opinions on how a turbo engine should be tuned. If its okay with him, I can post up the email exchange from earlier this morning. But only if he gives me permission.

shiv

Ps. There were no 20psi boost spikes involved. It had to so with boost targeting at partial throttle (sub 14psi). Im still a bit confused over it but perhaps others can offer their input.

I believe he misled the new R56 Mini crowd on NAM as well... He promised a product and never delivered...

No comment from Vishnu .. no surprise. They are reeling. shiv has read this thread no doubt and realizes he's in trouble. I have waited for the v2 for months at #165 and nothing. I uninstalled my 1.47 while I got my oil cooler installed. I am leaving it it off and I am 50-50 on whether I will sell the whole thing when v2 arrives.

I wouldn't be surprised if the price of a used v2 on this site is half of a new product due to what I believe will be many folks trying to sell.

I am getting tired of no customer service. Don't they get it?
