Starter works and the solenoid.
Got it installed.
It clicks and turned over about 30 degrees of 1 rotation with car battery 4 V and battery pack 12.4 V.

At battery world now... 5 minutes till it opens watching ufc on phone..

You get 100% for effort Brule. Unfortunate, the starter didn't work. To make it worse, the replacement starter will probably turn up first thing tomorrow morning. Enjoy the roll racing the best you can.

Yea I had a go.

Who knows when It will turn up.
I'm ready to go when it does.

Just want to pump this thing with boost and fuel.

No hilux or mazda just watched. Only a few cars over 700hp so I should go allright. No drag cars were there not sure why.

Removed manifold ready for revision 3.

Main issue ease on install and more importantly fitting heat sinks for O2 sensors.
Where they are fit fine but the heat sink adds another 20mm of length so Im moving them.

Before I do any more manifold works Ill put the engine back in.

Photo of manifold and intercooler cause its my favourite part.
Have you got O2 heat sinks already? I just mine in the mail today will install on the weekend when I get a chance.

Look really good quality and a lot cheaper than the other 'brand name' products available.

These are the ones I got.

You need to try and get it on the dyno and see what output it has Brule.

Yea I want to tune it on the dyno.
Just went for 2 drives today. 1 for 15 minutes and 1 for an hour and a half.

It is to hard to dial in on the street and I need to go over 100kmph.

The wastegate noise is disgusting.

Bummer about missing the Roll racing Brule, I missed the Syd event because I wasn't sure I'd have my car sorted, didn't enter and then it was full when I went to enter with a week to go...not that I'm running your power levels

Its always the way.

Next event will be Red Centre Nats September 5.

The Darwin drag strip will not be open until after September. That is the latest comment from organisers. I dont know why they cant hold meets now.

Hopefully the new roll racing club puts on another meet asap.

Might try dragy out soon. Not sure how much boost to run.

Went to do some logs at get some dragy results.

About 40 minutes into the drive and 10 minutes from a good test spot I popped an intercooler hose.

It was to hot to fix and I didnt have the right tools so I just limped it home.

Turned the boost on tip in down and lowered duty so it stays on target. Just on map 2 17psi. Only got 5 short logs in before the pipe went caboooom.

Try again tomorrow night.
