Ha, I just did the same thing. I've had the emblem in my garage since last November and just got around to applying it today. The middle "3" was the most difficult to align properly, but I'm happy with it now.

I also pulled the covers off and re-did the BSH catch can yesterday, using slightly more-flexible heater hose. Unfortunately, I found a small stream of oil from the metal "elbow" at the back of the valve cover, right off the PCV check valve.

I'm not so happy with the BSH hardware, at least with the way the kit interfaces with the PCV check valve. I'm going to try to dig through some metal elbow adapters at a plumbing supply store to see what I can come up with.

Michael, have you installed yours yet? If not, I'd like to see if I can find a better part for you before you tear into your engine bay. I can almost guarantee the BSH adapter leaks more oil than it transfers to the can.

Roger- I have one sitting on my garage shelf as well. Any chance I can get in on this re-engineer?

Sure thing! I just need to find a good fitting or plumbing supply store nearby to try and size up a better elbow. Would you mind if I "borrow" the round black metal fitting that came with your BSH kit? I just need to find something that will fit snugly into the plastic PCV check valve without modification.

The easiest or best-fitting part might be a compact, aluminum 90-degree elbow with barbed 5/8" OD fittings. Autozone sells a plastic fitting like this for $4.

The hose that comes with the BSH can isn't so flexible but Autozone sells some cheap nylon heater hose that's a lot more flexible. Unfortunately, it kinks easily so you have to be careful of routing it around the coil cover.

Give me a call or text this week and we can meet up and borrow my occ fittings. I'm not going to install yet anyways.

WHAT THE ....

I'm really sorry to see that. Isn't the timing sprocket built into or pressed onto the crank? Was the factory crank pulley removed for any reason and have you found any damage to it? I believe the crank pulley also doubles as a harmonic balancer.

Hmm, that might not work out. Has anyone called the restaurant to accommodate the possibly large group?

an ebay cable, some software, and the coding forum...someone's already done it over there; involves changing your vehicle order and switching on options via that cable
