Difficulty in getting the vacuum line to rear wastegate nipple

My car is RHD, not sure if it makes the difference with LHD 335i, with which most tutorial clips are present on Youtube.

I tried to replace the front wastegate vacuum line and it is fairly easy for me to feel where the nipple is. But for rear one, it is totally insane. I tried to put my arm near the heat shield but my fingers could not reach the nipple. I looked on top of the engine, and could barely saw the line go all the way down near the firewall at the back of engine.

No idea whatsoever how to replace the rear one now. Please help.

On RHD is lot harder to do it from the top. I suggest try from the bottom.

If I remember correctly, its allot easier when you remove the heat shield. Gives you more room to squeeze your hand back there.

Just tried again. It should be the steering rod which blocks the way through to the waste gate. this is the bottle neck. I may try to get it from the bottom.

NM my comments. I totally missed the RHD part. I'll be quiet now.

Hi mate any update on this? I've done all mines bar the rear and front actuators as they seemed ridiculously hard to get to
