When you put your wheels back try to get as much info as you can, how low are the coils, alignment specs. I was rubbing so bad with 10/15mm spacers all around when I thought I could get the same wheel specs as you. I gotta copy your specs to pull it off, I don't know where I'm off to make adjustments.

Easy Way To Remove Valve Cover E52

ON UR NEXT VALVE COVER REMOVAL CUT OFF A CHUNK OFF PLASTIC EXTENSION ON BASE OF POWER CONTROL MODULE.after wires and coolant extension hose of the way. remove valve cover tilted toward engine bay by catalytic cover. will pull straight out without removing any thing. to put
it back on, also tilt at the same angel pass the plastic piece u cut off,and it will go straight in without any problem. to tighten the bolt use a thin extension bar that allows for a tilt not the regular bar. 2 bolt above the catalytic converter ,at the odd angel have to be torqued to 90 inches to avoid leaks.those cover do not crack as mechanic seem to suggest they just don,t add the extra torque for those tilted angel hence when it leaks they blame a cracked cover.to remove pvc pipe srew diver on ons side ur hand other side .take time and the right angel to pop it out
