Just for clarification...

On a LCI e90 with OEM halogen headlamp, H8/35W is for the Fog lights while the Low and High beam uses H7/55W. Neither is a direct replacement for the Angel Eyes bulb.
Hope this makes it clear for someone.

Cheap price it is - but if you are looking for something brighter than the OEM bulbs, or expect better light distribution - it ain't gonna happen with these

Been there, done that...

Only feature afforded by the GPThunders is a color change - if that's all you are after - then by all means they are great.

If you are looking for brighter than OEM, or better light distribution - you need to look elsewhere for much more expensive LED options.

And the H8 are direct replacement for both AE & Fogs on the E92 (at least pre-LCI)

yeah i just wanted color change, IMHO its not worth the 200 bucks for LED bulbs that are "marginally" brighter than OEM, ive seen most of them in person and theres no wow factor for me, ill save that money for OSS LED rings in the near future.

hey guys, just purchased these and installed them. i've read and researched but the 7500k's still seem slightly yellow to me? when the xenons are off they look fine, but as soon as you turn the headlights on, they get kind of yellow anyone else notcie that?

There is only so much you can get out of a standard halogen bulb. Color and output. Most of the color change here is from the color on the bulb itself.

It works but isn't getting a performance/output gain, only minimal color change.

When I had my GPThunders I used the 8500K to get the look I needed to match my 6000K D1S headlights.

I know 8500K should have a tint of blue color over the white of the 6000's, but the color change on the halogen bulbs is made by the tint they put on the glass - not exactly rocket science or exact - so color range may be off from what is reported.

sounds about right. anyone have suggestions or a link to a thread on how to change the amber in the corner of the headlamps? i believe those are the turn signal lamps.
