I have no idea what was going on with my car before, I was getting random vanos and throttle body codes. I uninstalled DP fix, drove for a while and it was fine, reinstalled, dp fix and it's fine again. Very strange. Now just need to adjust the dial slightly since I have 29F4 and 29F5 codes currently. Cat shows readiness now though.

Wasn't able to pm since my box is full. Basically the two codes your are getting requires you to move the dial clockwise about 1/8th of a turn. This is done with the cables facing away from you. As far as random vanos codes that is the first maybe connection issues but glad to see that is not the case any more.

I'm thinking connection issue as well with the DME. I lost the 2 connector locking parts that make sure the harness does not unplug from the DME years ago.

Can someone confirm when I'm good to get emissions OBD tested? I adjusted my dial, everything is back to ready (besides evap - but I can have 1 monitor incomplete) and I do not have any codes now. I've only driven about 30 miles since adjusting the dial though.

Will this still work in CA with the updated smog test?

The most I can say is that this will remove the ses light and set the readiness monitors. It also helps with troubleshooting the sensors.

I have smog due by early Sept here in LA and I'm sweating bullets. Can you get one shipped out to zip code 90005? You can PM for full address.

We also have the new issue of smog shops scanning for tuning software. I haven't installed MHD yet, just running JB4. Deactivating the JB4 to Map 0 should be enough right? Since it's just a piggy back.

Bought one, showed up in like 3 days.

Installed in 10 minutes. Started at the 5 o'clock position, did one diagnostic drive and everything but evap showed ready with no extra codes. I live in a state that allows one non-ready, so I took it in and passed emissions first thing the next morning. 10 minutes later I had it uninstalled and in a drawer for next year.

Made this account just so I could login and say thanks, worked like a charm. Will buy again if I lose this one.

2007 335i FBO with VRSF catted DPs. JB4 set to 0. MHD flashed to stage 2 with the "oem dps" option selected.
