Part numbers contained in the above thread somewhere its a long one.
Also if you have a car made past 3/07 you may need and ICOM cable to
code it and it requires option 6NN to be programmed .

Also this has the part no's more towards the front ot the following thread.
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1036190

And easier way to to get USB is
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1499808
which also gives you an SD card slot , streaming bluetooth music
and another aux and telephone if you need.
Downside interface controls kind of funky lame.

Note You can't get streaming music on the Pro Head units in any year as
far as I know. You can get phone over Bluetooth on these I believe though.

If you are looking for a high fidelity input the aux is not it .
It has been documented over an over again how bad it is.
Bluetooth streaming ain't it either , although I have heard
if you have an aptex device on both ends it's suppose to be
better.
People have done all sorts of things in order to avoid the aux
problem and best solutions still remains is to avoid the aux.
I only wanted to be able to have my music selection available to
having it on usb and sd was enough for me.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1002984

The basic conclusion is to avoid the aux in the above thread is
avoid the aux.

The cheap bluetooth streaming box, I have ,that I mentioned avoids the aux
music sounds as good as CD from the usb and sd ports, It will play streaming but I can
notice the quality is not as good as usb and sd but not as bad as aux .
Only bad part of that box is the lame way they have of switching between sources
and lack of detailed instructions for operating the box.

Pro Radio still does not do bluetooth streaming in any model as
far as I know.

No model mentioned that does in those threads I gave you and I have
never seen anybody mention a pro radio that does bluetooth streaming.

As I said the part no's for the Radio's with and without most Bus are in those
threads I supplied.

Logic 7 amp swap is not easy or inexpensive .
If you are going to do it you will need to either reprogram the
head unit to hi fi or get a most to analog converter.
Technic harness for Logic 7 is recommended .
Be sure you know what's involved and have all the pieces before you
start.
I would talk to Technic.
It may be possible to go direct to a DSP/amp for some music.
I have never had a Logic 7 amp so the details are somewhat fuzzy for me.

I am telling you that the device I mentioned will get you usb and sd card playback
at cd quality which is what your original asked. It's most bus input avoids the aux from BMW .
