I haven't read this whole thread so if this information is already common knowledge then I apologise.
I'm contemplating Fx brakes on my Lci E91 330d and have just come across these very informative videos - especially the one regarding the rear conversion:

If anyone is looking for some of the ECS lightweight front 340mm rotors for their f30 Brembo upgrade I’ll have a set available in like 10 days. Changing to M4 spindles and can’t use these rotors any more, they have no issues whatsoever and have less than 4K miles on them. I’d take $400 shipped CONUS and they are $700 from ECS tuning.

This is a pic from when I installed them so you know which ones I mean:

Go m4 with 340 calipers and adapters or 370 calipers and adapters

For the normal person, blanks are the best, simple and no frills. People have been tracking on centric blanks for ages on all cars without issues.

Yeah, slotted are OK. I have them on one of my cars (actually, one I do not track). But, slotted and drilled? I mean......

I would suggest anyone going with M Performance Big Brake kit from ECS for a 335i to better think twice if you will go this route. I ordered mines and I have been having a lot of issues with this kit. Lot of things has come incomplete (one of the rear brakes (calipers) had the bracket missing, two guide pins from one of the rear caliper and the expansion spring for that same caliper were missing. A wrong brake sensor (not for 335i) came on the order and lot of screws that do not belong to the 335i came on the kit ( I had to go to a store to buy new screws- to buy the correct ones). The rear rotors (hole to grab the rotor to the rear hub) does not align, so there is no way to have the hex bolt installed.

This is a VERY expensive kit, for a customer to have all this issues, that at the end (more than a week letter) are resolved but the car has been stocked for a couple of days until all this parts are figured out. Please be careful when going this route. Very frustrating after paying that amount of money on ECS complete (Front and rears) M Performance Big Brake Kit for 335i.

From experience I'd say go the secondhand route as there are some bargains to be had. I've just put the Fx 340mm brembo set up on my E91 and got almost new front and rear blue calipers with new pads, new genuine bmw front discs and new zimmermann rear discs plus the eccentric inserts for £630.
You just need to do your homework when it comes to the rears as they are not straightforward to fit. You need to find out the exact specs of your current set up on the rear with regards to the handbrake so that you know what route you need to take. I just needed the eccentric inserts and a pair of E60 345mm rear discs. The existing back plate needed to be cut as well.
While looking online for the brake kit I was finding people were asking silly money for the calipers, but just take your time and every now and again a good set will turn up at a bargain price. When they do though, they don't hang around for long so you have to get in quick!

ECS has been known to have really shitty customer service and missing items all the time. Check out the FB group Why I hate ECS tuning, and make a post there. They read the posts and is usually the only way to ever get any help.

Thanks, I just did. Not to happy with ECS and the way they handled this matter.

I'm far from an ECS shill but every experience I've had with customer service has been the exact opposite. They're on the ball with responses and always backed their products by sending me free replacements without issue. I guess it all matters who you get to help I guess.

I honestly have to second that. They've taken care of me in the past and tried to work with me on shipping options/costs when they could. To someone in Hawaii, that's a big deal. Only had one box come in with a piece missing and they shipped it out overnight the next day.

Depends on what car you have. 328i has to consider what further modification path they'd like to take based on the smaller parking brake.
