Let me know if we need to book or anything.

Also I've got those new lug bolts for you, I'll bring them along on the day if I don't see you earlier.

ok fellas, for those comtemplating having a little fun next week i'd suggest the iphone app, 'cmslaptimerpro' or the lite 'cmslaptimer' to give you lap times via gps. I can't remember the difference tbh but the SOTS days have no timing and while i am all for trash talk the day is pretty casual, so if you want to see how your times are progressing throughout the day your gonna have to get something yourself and the cmslaptimer takes video as well so with a windscreen mount you can get lap times and vid.

Stu, you will need this to prove you got past the grey ghost, else no one will believe you

Thanks for the tip, I'll def make sure I get that app or some sort of laptimer cause I'm keen to measure my progress.

I might go one better and try and get a GoPro (or borrow one) for video, that way when I come up to lap you and you spin off the track due to the pressure we can all have a good laugh

Pity i cant make this one
I used Harry's laptimer which does video as soon as you go past start line automatically.
So attach to window and leave it till you get into pits

Mo you coming next tue? I think Harry's is better but the cms was free for the lite and the jb blocks the obd port so I can't get the overlays which are cool

Stu and MO, can you make sure the front of your cars are clean and put some shiny red stuff on the front of your car so as I pull away from you I can gauge the distance

MO if you get harry's i'll bring me 'kiwi wifi OBDII' thinggie. http://www.plxdevices.com/product_info.php?id=GSST2WIFI

it should enable you to get the gauges on the screen as well. i paid $190 delivered but you can have it for $100 if you like it. i cant use it as the jb blocks the obdII port
