Thumbs up Ordered my new 330i today!

Very excited here. This isn't an order from the factory. It happens to be one at another dealer in a different city. It's is however exactly how I would spec it. Jet Black, MT, Sport, Prem, Nav, Cold, CA, shades with Terra leather.(Had t have Terra) Pretty much loaded out. Very hard car to find on a lot with these options. My dealer's sale price was $42,450. Not to shabby. This was the easiest car buying experience yet. Best part is I'll have it in less than 2 weeks.

Could'nt be happier. I'm already thinking of ordering the shorter shift knob right off the bat.

That it.

Why not wait for turbo, just curious cos I was in the same boat. I was ready to get an '06 330i and hadn't bothered researching the 335i and once I did and figured out the new stuff it made me reconsider.

Although in my case what really drove me was that I wanted Arctic and it was next to impossible to come by with the features I wanted, so I figured go with the 335i and the color I wanted, and oh wow it comes with turbo Not to mention the extra mark up LOL! But I'm treating myself while I can at this stage in my life

I thought a lot about the turbo. 45 more horsepower is great, but I'm coming from an '02 325i. The 330i is already like a 70 hp gain. Enough power for me. Plus this is BMW's first turbo in what 30 years? They're not know for turbos, let's put it that way. 1st year? No thanks. I could be great and totally problem free. Or not. I KNOW the 330i is solid. Good enough for me.

Great reasons! I was hoping you were going to say something like that! I am also worried about the turbo motor! I think it will be fine but I prefer NA motors! I came from a 10 year old grand prix so i had one hell of a jump to my 325

Can 330i can still be ordered? I thought 328i and 335i are going to replace the 325i and 330i

You made a great choice & also saved over 10 grand verse 335i.
That kind of savings is not worth only 45 HP gain.

They no longer can be ordered only found @ Dealers.
Only 328 & 335 are being made now for coupe & sedan.

I just ordered my 330i last week. Went to BMW owers page and it says it's currently scheduled for production. My ca said they should have it build by the 9th. Appearently this dealer still has some allocation that hasn't been build yet so they were able to squeeze in one with the options I want.

Good points about 330i vs. 335i. Untested turbo... though I imagine they've been perfecting/testing it like crazy being the new thing this time around. And the price hike bothers me. I know for sure I can save about $7-10K getting a 330i. Oh well my deposit is refundable if I change my mind.

Congrats, should look sweet!

First I love the terra and alum I went with saddle and aluminum on JB.

I find it funny that there is a thread named I just ordered my 330i right next to Ordered my 335i.

But you make good points and I think you will love your car.

Everybody focuses on the HP but the BIG difference is torque...80 lb foot more starting at just over 1K RPM's...which is an increase of about 40% over the current 330...this IS worth some big money to me!

If you care about performance 330 vs 335 will be night and day.
