BOV Help

I'm thinking about installing an aftermarket Blow off Valve (BOV) to my 07 335I, and I need help as to which manufactures I should consider. What I'm looking for is nothing too obnoxious in noise, but still be able as well as others to hear the BOV. I think Burger tuning may have what I'm looking for, but I don't know what it sounds like. I was wondering what type of input you all may have. Below is the link to the BOV I'm interested in.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I've been listening to a few youtube videos with an HKS bov, and you are right. It is a bit loud.

Please pardon the noob question, but other than sound, is there mechanical benefit to a BOV? I read something somewhere about helping impeller life, but then I read something about the diverter and low boost pressures (without a tune) making this a moot point.

Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

Active Autowerke w/ chargepipe.

Get company & customer support, quality product, and most likely the sound you are looking for.

Price can be a bit steep however if you buy used on the forums you can pick one up for around $400. Just make SURE the seller includes all the hardware (reducer, clamps, bolts, end caps, vacuum line, etc) bc those can add another $30-50 depending.

Install is simple and straight forward just do your research especially with the vacuum line connection.

Also, this piece can not pair with an Injen intake bc of fitment issues.

Thanks m1ka. I haven't considered looking at used parts on here. The part that I was looking at from Burger tuning is pretty steep to. Brand new plus the cost of shipping comes out to ~$600!!!!

@ fdawg4l Take a look at this video on youtube that I've found. It explains BOVs on a general level.
