Hourly Chime in '10 E92
I was watching an old video from my '07 E90 and I heard the hourly chime. It made me realize that I don't seem to have it in my '10 E92.
Is there any way to turn on the hourly chime in a 2010 E92? Thanks! |

1st time I ever heard of this - I certainly don't have any hourly chime on my 09' E92 (wouldn't want it either)

If you have iDrive, you check the Hour memo box in the time/date settings and it should activate.
It's a holdover from the pre nav system days....German radio stations broadcast traffic reports at the top of the hour, so the chime is to remind you to listen in. Drove me nuts when I first lived there, and i put a Blaupunkt unit in my 535..took me forever to figure out how to turn it off. I was perfectly happy listening to whatever CD i'd mixed along with the sound of the M30 engine with a CAI. |

My previous E60 545i had the hourly chime with the option to turn it on and off. It would freak my passengers out every time it went off. Have yet to find this feature in my new-to-me 2009 335xi.
