My 335i is misfiring on ALL cylinders after replacing valve cover gasket
Honestly praying someone can help me find the solution to this problem. After doing what seemed to be a standard valve cover gasket swap on my 2009 E92 335i my car is now idling extremely rough into stalling out. I also replaced the intake manifold gaskets and 2 ignition coils with new bosche ones. And I cleaned both intake and exhaust solenoids with cleaner. My code reader is showing misfires on every cylinder 1-6 and throwing codes P0015, P052B, P054B. I've tried replacing the crankshaft and camshaft sensors and those don't seem to be the problem. So I'm throwing away money at the parts store apparently. I think my best bet would be to find what is causing the misfires. My car ran fine before the valve cover and intake manifold gaskets so I know it HAS to be something simple but I've pretty much tried everything I could think besides cleaning the fuel rail. I'd really appreciate any help!

Are you sure you hooked all the wires back up?

Put the old coils back in and see if new coils are your issue.. Coils can cause issues you wouldnt believe. I personally had Bosch coils try to kill my car (18v spikes out of the alternator).

You're not getting a lean code but I'd almost bet you have some part of the gasket that didn't seat right or something and your engine is just pulling air into it through there from the pcv system and into the intake.

Hmmmm....seems like I am experiencing some similar symptoms although yours seems to be more extreme on the codes returned. I got the P052B and my idle is very rough and sounds like it's going to stall too. The work that I had done on my car was replace the oil housing and oil cooler gaskets, as well as replace my spark plugs. Replaced with the OEM Bosch plugs. I cleaned my solenoid valves after this started happening and it didn't seem to help. Not sure what to check next. Looking for some help for forum members here.

You might be right about the gasket , I'm gonna try taking it off again as I used a gasket from Oreillys and it did seem as if it could fit better but it looked like it lined up when I used a mirror to inspect it after changing it. And I'm almost 100% sure the wires are correct though.

Well I can't put them back because the 2 I changed were actually the only aftermarket plugs I had. They rubber boot somehow expanded and literally ripped when I pulled out the coil packs. I had to pick out the rest of the boots. I guess they were really cheap quality. (Import direct from oriellys) Now all the coil packs are the same Bosch ones, which I believe are oem.
