It depends where the goods are also eg. Sometimes goods in UK are better purchased through their Agent in USA. Delivery will probably be slower but at a 3rd of the UK cost. |

Your package is likely to make stop on some several ports on one flight in less than 24 hours, but the rest of the time will largely be taken up with waiting in containers for parcel forwarding from USA to Australia. As you increase the number and weight of objects you want to send, the cost goes up. And then you hit a point where you can justify a half-container. And it costs nothing to add more items and weight until the half container is full.
