I agree with srcstc. If they have the proper techs there, getting it done Saturday should be no different than any other day. I say get it Saturday.

Did the dealer apply any special sealer to the exterior? The reason I am asking is my dealer is charging me for an exterior/interior protectant/sealant.

This wasn't done with our last BMW as it was purchased in Orlando.

They offered me something like that but I turned it down. Just refuse it. They're not supposed to add it on without your permission.

Didn't come in Monday. CA doesn't know why, said maybe the driver is sick as once before when so late, or maybe they had a bunch of other dealers to go to...

It was ready the 29th, about 3 hours away from the dealership. So I just don't know.

That really stinks. If it's any consolation: it has literally not stopped raining since I got mine last Thursday. I have some serious detailing ahead of me if and when the sun ever shines

Soooo my CA emailed and phoned me to tell me the car is in and I'm scheduled to pick it up tomorrow morning!

Well I'm happy to say our car is finally in the garage! We had a few snags....literally. The vinyl near the armrest on the center console had a small tear, with which our CA(which was GREAT) resolved by swapping one from another car from the lot. We also found a perfect little 2mm hole in the leatherette on the driver's left bolster that looked like a manufacturer's defect in the original material before it was sewn into a seat cover. He would have swapped the entire seat with another car but he didn't have another car on the lot that was black leatherette sport so he ordered a new cover. Things happen and as long as the dealer responds in the way that this dealer did all is good in the end.

My CA was a master at showing is every infinite detail of operating every single thing on the car including all the iDrive functions, which took him over an hour to go over.

it is a shame that you had minor issues but glad to hear that it was resolved immediately.
