How to remove e92 front fender?

Hi guys, does anyone have DIY of how to remove the fender on e92? I searched and couldn't find anything useful. Thanks

Garage List
  • Remove Front Wheel Housing Liner
  • Remove Side Skirts
  • Remove (2) bolts holding bottom of fender to car (directly behind wheel well under where the front of side skirt was)
  • Remove (3) bolts holding fender to car in door jamb area (open door to access)
  • Remove (2) bolts holding front edge of fender to front bumper (at seam between fender/bumper right behind headlight)
  • Remove (4) bolts holding fender to car along top edge under hood
  • Done

Bentley Manual devotes a whopping (3) pages to detail Fender Removal/Install - not hard at all

Thanks man, are these steps from the manual? Body shops quote me for removing bumper and headlight also, are they necessary?

Not exactly - I expanded on the manual. Manual shows pic of fender with location of bolts & says remove

Not necessary to remove headlight or bumper - I've had both fenders off my car using steps I listed above.

To make it easier and less of a hassle, yes. The sideskirts cover 2 bolts on the lower side of the fenders.
