use some soap

I know its hard to get the flex pipe back on there, just use spray a little liquid soap (409/simple green) to help slip it back on.

Use a hairdryer to heat up the plastic inlet hoses before trying to put the airbox back in.

why don't you look at the DIY for the DCI install and just trace back the steps?

This is the answer! I had been trying for over an hour to get the rear hose on with no luck. Put the wife's hair dryer on it for five minutes and it slipped right on. I was really surprised at how much the hose would flex when it was warm.

Thanks!

hairdryer x 9999 helps so much!

forget any lube, use the no mess hairdryer right BEFORE you put in the bottom portion of the airbox.
