snap in dead after combox retrofit

I know this is a common problem but I can't seem to find the answer. I would really like to have my cradle power again after my combox install can anyone give me a tip or two? I went from MULF/TCU to combox.

cradle charge enable pin should be routed to positive or ground
need to check rheingold for e70 lci scheme or f-series scheme of the 6NF option

p.s. checked 6nf wiring removed from e92, cradle only have 3 wires not counting aux and video, one red (power) and two brown(ground) and probably cradle charging connected to ground

My cradle has 8 wires. I may be wrong but I was thinking I am missing something from the combox that was either from the mulf or Tcu. Thanks for you assistance.

Im in exactly the same situation in that my combox USB is dead and i have one wire left on my loom which is blue with black and i have no idea where it goes. I reinstalled my mulf and measured the voltage and it seemed to be grounded but still doesn't work....

These don't tally with the original wiring at all.... ? Are you sure e90 is the same as x70

it is same but combox scheme provided for cars with 6NF option, so you should ignore these FBAS and 0-5 X17179 pins

Some of the snap ins have video out to the cic and thats where some of your wires go. Some goes to the MULF TCU and theres also USB

So, my issue was a bad combox. I replaced it and it's all working except for apps and also the snap in was unresponsive.
I went and bought a cradle for an old iPhone and snapped it in. No power. I earthed the black with blue wire and I now have power but the combox and cic doesn't see the phone. David did you end up fixing yours and what was the issue ?

I actually haven't pursued it as I am thinking about reverting back to TCU/MULF. I don't stream enough to see the value and since the retrofit I loose Ipod connection often.

Retrofit is now out. Back to tcu/mulf. iPod is functioning and music working now from snap in. Combox retrofit harness and combox will soon be in the classified section.
I did not recode the whole car yet though, just the CIC and it seems to be fine with it.

From when i install Combox & coded i lose microfone(no one hear me),i put black & blue wire on 26,is this the problem? I had car tel cradle for a Nokia and i take it out 2 years ago
