Conversion of E90 to M2/M4 front look

Hello,

I've got quite some questions as of now I am interesting in purchasing custom made M2 bumper for my E90.

I understand that this modification will bring all sorts of costs, however my biggest concerns are these:

1. Upon having M2 style bumper, therefore it will eliminate fog lights.
I believe that will give me an issue with fog lights checker on dashboard?
If that's true, could you possibly tell me the solution to this issue?

2. I'm also interested in purchasing M4 style DTM lights.
Do you have any recommendations about them, would there be also any conflicts?

I really appreciate any help, thank you!

This is the coding sub-forum, you'll have better luck getting replies in the cosmetic sub-forum.

You can't move the thread, a mod has to do that.
So you can delete it here and repost or just reference this one.

It has to do with the coding, coding the fog lights checker off with new bumper..

Sorry, my bad, missed the coding out fog lights.
I believe you can code them out. Search the coding section.

Yes you can code out the fog lights. Load up your frm in ncs dummy and find fog light cold and hot monitors and turn them off and check control notification. I can't tell you the exact lines to change since frm's will display different lines for every year and frm version

Hello, thank you for taking time to reply.

Regarding the coding, I have little to no knowledge with coding.
If you would have time to tell me a bit more about coding and the tutorial in-short, that would be appreciated!
Please let me know as I am looking forward to hear from you!

There's a ton of tutorials and walkthroughs online that are going to be better at explaining it in full than a post on this thread. Google ncs expert tutorial on YouTube or google and you'll find plenty of threads and videos

The front fogs are easy. Since you're deleting front fogs altogether just remove $520 from the VO (CAS and NFRM) and default code the FRM and it will be a permanent fix.

For the headlights, if you get bulb check errors, just turn off (nicht aktiv) warm and kalt (hot and cold) bulb checks for low beams, high beams, etc.
