NY/NJ Shop to clear ECU codes?

anyone know of a shop near NY or NJ that has a BT cable? since a BT cable is hard to find used, it might be worth it to just go to a shop. any idea of how much it might cost? thanks for the input.

Autozone will do it for free. MY CAI tends to throw the engine running rich code from time to time so I just said fuck it and bought myself my own reader.

Autozone will actually delete the BMW extended codes like tune detects? that would be awesome but i find it hard to believe. dont they just check the check engine codes?

If the OBD can pick it up then they can delete it.

oh okay. still good to know but i'm more worried about the hidden codes that BMW uses to void your warranty.

The OBD reader used by BMW is no different then the one you can buy at Autozone or any other auto parts store. So I doubt they have a "special reader" designed to pick up "hidden" BMW codes. Altough those Germans are quite sneaky so you never know.

Autozone can not read extended codes or shadow codes. They can only read manufacturer common OBDII codes.
