Yea I just scored the springs bnib from a forum member, pretty happy. I thought I remembered you had the PS but didn't know you had the full kit LMB.
You're the first I've heard liking the PS shocks, everyone else I've read complains of them being underdamped which is why I was at Bilstein or Koni. So far all else I have are whiteline subframe inserts, good enough for dd right now. Probably Eibach or Dinan front sway and M3 front arms to come.
The guy I bought them from was selling them as a pkg. I bought the E93 M3 front sway separately and upgraded to powerflex bushings for that as well. If it didn't come with the shocks I'm sure I would have just done Koni yellows or Bilsteins though but they're adequate for my once or twice a yr excursion to the twisties.

That's per tip, so x2.

You can find cheaper ones, but they are either 2.25" inlet (which would work, but will requiere the exhauat shop expanding the diameter, which is no biggie), less than 5.×" long (which could be the barely minimum) or do not specify if they are T304 SS.

The ones I bought are really good quality. Some of the 2.25" also seem to be good quality, so that is an option, but I can't speak from personal experience.

Paid 60 to get them welded. It is a bit more than what others paid for, but I'm in NoVa/DC, they did a great job, and were friendly! Definitely call around cause the first shop I called wanted $180 to weld them

Good luck

I forgot to mention, I went for the completely flush look. Some days I look at them and see them entirely flush, other days I see maybe 1/16 sticking out, but nothing really noticeable is my point. IMO, the tips are fairly aggresive and could be too much if they are sticking out considerably. They fit perfect and there is a safe gap between the tips and diffuser. Good luck!

Never ever ever buy sht online like that without first paying $150 for an independent inspector to come in and go over the car top to bottom. they send you a report with grading for everything right down to tire tread.
Haha everything was graded I got a 4.7 out of 5 on everything...I didn't just blindly get it..I did a lot of research through a dealer first...

So is there enough to have them stick out like an inch?

There is enough, but be sure that is what you want before they weld them. My advice would be to go over the "4" Ebay Tips" thread and see how different people have installed them. Personally, I would think that 1" out would be a bit too out, but you can rock them like that if you want. I should mention that these tips have a tapered section of about 1/3 of its length and then they go to 4" for the remaining 3/4 of its length. If you stick em out too much you will see more of that tapered section from the side view.

The pictures attached show my tips, which are flush with the upper section of the bumper opening but the lower section of the bumper opening is slanted, so more than an inch of the tip is visible from the side.

Cyba sells 4" black chrome tips. I have them on my car. They're double walled and rolled.

Black tips look awesome. I did many hours of ebay research and could not find black tips that were 2.5 inlet/4.0 outlet/7 long. So, I would not bother looking much further than Cyba and I think ECS also sells a black tip option (not sure if black chrome). Cyba tips are excellent, from what I've seen, they just cost significantly more.

In my case I ended up going with polished SS because my spoiler is jet black; I really wanted my diffuser black, and thought I needed some contrast. They also match my wheels and I did not want to spend the extra money. I might someday buy black tips if I go back to the stock diffuser look, but for now I'm enjoying the ebay tips.

Regardless of which you buy, remember to post pics!

I'd just search his name and PM him. He has various threads in the Sponsor marketplace in a few forums.

Is anyone running Style 313 Square Set Up as in running a pair of the 18x 8.5's in the front as well as the rear?
Can you run 255's up front with this set up?

Has anyone installed this? http://exhaustmeister.com/bmw-valve-parts/
I have a 2011 I want to install it on.

Edit: I know this is the golf tee mod but I like the fact that I can open can close it on the fly since I live in a Condo association and would like my neighbors to not want to kill me.

So that thing is only to open and close the exhaust flap valve by control? Way way WAY NOT worth it!! The valve does absolutely nothing for the cold start sound if you're worried about the sound being too loud for your neighbors, and on regular driving around the complex the valve is closed anyways. Says you have MHD, so just put on the cold start noise reduction....? I really don't understand the point of that thing ^

I realize it's way over priced but it would be nice to be able to control the valve. I might just make a valve control myself.

I was just stating that it is overpriced.

It would be nice to control because I don't always want the flap open.
Highway driving would be one example, or driving in a neighborhood.

I'm just saying that the valve stays closed in both those examples you give...so sometimes you'd like the valve open at low rpm/speed, and sometimes you'd like it closed? Is that what you're going for?

I would just not do the golf tee mod at all then and not worry about it. That thing only adds a decibel or 2

Well...the electrical connection to the flapper valve can be accessed through the trunk on the left side, unplugged, and you're done. Stands to reason if you want a "dynamic" solution you can hook up a switch to that connection to enable and disable the power to the valve. I chopped mine off the pipe when I changed the pipes from my mufflers rearward and dig the exhaust notes it makes. I get asked what kind of exhaust system I have on the car and I say "stock." The burble is music! It is not that loud but it is louder upon start up. No complaints from my neighbors either. Even when revving. The Porsche 911 of my neighbor makes much more noise - guess it depends on how wound your neighbors are.

Thanks for all the feedback so far.

I have the plug in the trunk unhooked, that is why it is so loud on cold starts in the mornings.
It would still be nice to be able to control this from inside the cabin but I don't think I will pay over $100 for this.
I did flash the "Reduced cold startup noise" in MHS Flasher and that made a world of difference so I will do that for now. If anyone designs something to open and close it from the steering wheel, let me know!!
