335i buying

I'm considering changing my 335d for a 335i.
Is there a buying guide I can read anywhere.
I have had a look though some posts on here regarding things that could go wrong with them.
I'm looking at 09 dct. With 61k
Is that high mileage?

for 3 years old it's done 20k/yr, not the easiest life
mine was '56 with 50k

generally the turbo failure, wheel cracks, vanos unit and fuel pump, didn't come across anything else on mine

Also:

Listen for noises from the heating/ac blower & check the blower operates at a different speed for each "bar" of speed setting in the digital climate control panel;

Check A/C works, and check heating works;

Listen for turbo wastegate rattle;

Why??? There's ultimately not much in it power wise and when they are heavily modded reliability goes out the window. I had a d and it was bullet proof. There about equal on fuel economy I believe give or take. The only thing better is the noise and rev range. I can't say much though I justly traded my 335d in for an m3 haha. The petrol is a lot more involving to drive

Don't know of any problems apart from the ones mentioned above.
The way I personally look at the mileage is that 20k/year is high, but because of this the car was probably used for commuting, with the miles being covered on long journeys which wouldn't put so much stress on the car.
If it's the extra performance you're after, have you considered getting a re-map? You'll get similar bhp figures, way higher torque and (probably) much better fuel economy.
