Honestly, if money isn’t really an issue then I’d suggest going for the LCI CSL trunk conversion. I’ve seen Sparkling graphite metallic E90s with the conversion before and it looks sooo good!

Thanks man. Sometimes it's hard to choose being outside working on the car versus being inside in the A/C lol but doing all of the work yourself is the best feeling. So get off your butt!!!!

Yeah we'll see. I will do something with the trunk but it probably won't be for a while.

There was a guy locally selling some parts off of his sparkling graphite E90 so I traded him for his M3 style bumper. For the longest time I wanted a M-sport bumper but finding something locally already painted...I couldn't pass it up!

Hey man, how are you liking the BC coils? I have the same ones and love them so far, but honestly I never even got to drive my 335i with stock suspensions so I guess I don't have a lot to compare to.

Any idea in terms of total time to perform your interior swap? Car looks great by the way

Well not much has changed in the last couple of months. I recently moved so that has been taking up a lot of time.

It's been a while now, but I removed the fog light grilles from the M3 style bumper (I hated them) and installed air ducts in their place. There is a seller on eGay that sells the ducts alone made specifically for the M3 style front bumper so I ordered those, but because I have the oil cooler I needed to buy an OEM M3 passenger side air duct. It look quite a bit of work to get the ducts to fit, and they are still not perfect.

Random shot of the interior a few weeks ago with my GoPro Hero 4

Last weekend I brought the car to a detail shop and they paint corrected it! Minus the hood though because it needs to be repainted. The rest of the car looks fantastic though! Sorry for the crappy night-time garage shots.

The thing that I am most excited about though - just bought a BMW Performance exhaust! This week I am going to drop it off to have the exhaust tips powder coated gloss black.

How much did you pay for the BMW PE? Just wondering what they are going for now for E90.

Well I was browsing ebay one night and I wasn't expecting to find an E90 specific PE, but there it was. The person selling it was about 100 miles away from too which was pretty cool. I ended up paying $600 for it, it's just the axle-back section though not the midpipes. I wish I could have found the midpipes as well but it's okay

Supposedly there are no more new PE exhausts for the E90 in the U.S.

Love your car! Paint correction looks great, are you planning on doing a LCI rear?

You should also look into adding a tablet or something in the interior, something just seems missing in there imo!

Eventually I'd like the M-sport rear with LCI trunk/tails.

I'd also like to do a CIC retrofit one day, but considering the fact that this 335i has 178K on the odo right now that might be something I'll never get around to. Technically those parts could be removed and transferred to another BMW, but if I do stick with the E9x chassis for my next car (which I probably will because I love them so much) it will probably have iDrive already

Also, dropped off the BMW PE to have the tips done in gloss black. I should have it back sometime next week! Also ordered exhaust clamps for the exhaust because it didn't have two of them.

Well, some pretty exciting news!

I purchased an M-sport rear bumper!

I am having the company who I bought it from paint the bumper, and I am also having them paint the diffuser gloss black.

Also, I just picked up my BMW Performance Exhaust from getting the tips done in gloss black! I will be installing it tomorrow hopefully, if not, definitely Saturday!!

Thanks man!

So I did something

Picked up an LCI trunk and 3/4 tails for a steal of a price! Found the passenger side trunk light on eBay used for cheap!

I created a template so I can place the "335i" in the exact spot once the trunk is painted

I will be dropping off the trunk for paint hopefully Thursday!!
