RSA Delete - WinFPK Crashed - Car Cranks No Start

Hi everyone.

I was trying to flash RSA Delete to my 2007 328i. I checked before flashing that INPA worked, and I was able to read codes and check live readings.

When I started flashing RSA Delete, it appeared everything was working, but then WinFPK crashed and exited. I then received the following message in the DOS.

[C:\EC-APPS\NFS\BIN\MSV80.ctl] [19.08.2020, 21:47:31]

ERG=Programming not ok. Fatal Error

Press any key to continue . . .

Now my car cranks, but won't start.

Any help would be appreciated. I really hope I didn't brick my DME.

I checked and I still have access to INPA and can read codes for whatever that is worth.

Apologies to E92William for hijacking his thread yesterday while in a state of despair/terror.

Thanks!

Mb try to flash stock sw back? Or try to repeat the RSA flash again. Are you running in VM? Not msv related but I tried to flash some other tricore ecu 2 days ago from Windows VM on my mac and the flash failed 2 times in a row. Granted, it was some aftermarket flasher so probably not as good as winkfp but you get the idea.

Yes, it worked after downloading the e89 daten and importing.

nsjames shared the below PDF which was very helpful. EXCEPT DO NOT do the last part of the PDF, the WinFPK configuration (use the Bimmerlabs WinFPK configuration, at least that's what I did).

Glad you got it sorted. No big deal about hijacking the other thread. It's kind of there half for troubleshooting and half for new things lol

Yes I’m getting a no crank start now too from doing the RSA delete. There was a few errors and after trying the 0da files there’s no response now.

I tried the RSA delete a couple of times but now there’s just no communication with the car.

Does the RSA unlock the DME with just the altering the power class?

How can you undo the RSA delete?

If the RSA delete fails, you need to reload the stock tune saved on the bimmerlabs page, then try the RSA delete again.
