[SOLVED] CD changer removal

Anyone try/do this before? I currently using an Android headunit and the OEM CD changer isn't useful anymore. I would like to seize that housing for a DIY trunk toolbox.

Previously I disconnected the optic cable from the CD changer and the optic circuit (sound in Android HU) stop working. How it could be coded and rewired?

EDIT: check this tutorial. You could gain some space in your trunk.

Are you sure you didn't disconnect and amp if you have one.
If you actually have a cd changer you have to put a Most Bus
jumper in the fiberoptic at the cd changer to complete the most loop.

entry 2 in the above.

If you have a logic 7 sound system and you have one of those piggyback android
head units the require the stock head unit the Most Bus must be intact.

If you have Logic 7 sound system it requires a analog to fiberoptic converter to feed
the amp.

You have to know what you started with.
