bought a crashed 335i won't start! Fuel cut off switch? Need help!
Bought a crashed 335i the seat/curtain airbag blew. It was starting just fine although it was misfiring and blowing black smoke. The BST cable in the back for some reason was not blown so the car did start. Usually they are blown when the airbags go off.
The car was jumped multiple times from the battery terminals in the rear. Just got it back from the body shop and they said the car was dead wouldn't start. I tried to start it and it DOES CRANK but does not start. It sounds like its not getting fuel even though there is fuel in the tank. I've read there is a fuel cut off/inertia switch that cuts off fuel when in an accident? Does anyone know where this is? 1. I've switched batteries with another 335i and same issue so its not the battery. 2. It cranks so its not the starter. 3. I have not replaced the BST cable since it is not blown. 4. I've read that it might be the CAS? But the steering wheel is not locked. So any suggestions? |

Only got misfire codes I opened the spark plugs and saw oil on the plugs and inside so I'm sure i have to get the VCG done as well. I changed the spark plugs and it cranks but no start.
Also when I put the key in there is no chimes and the navigation screen does nto turn on but the lights come up on the dash and the over head light on the roof turns on. |
