Interesting that so many people don't see a problem with the weight of their car and road force distributed through a thin machined piece of metal instead of the hub as designed. The hub is intended to take these forces, not the wheel studs.

A proper spacer will have a lip to match the existing hub, so there is no loss in integrity between wheel & stock hub. And BTW, the studs would be fine on their own also, the lip is mainly to keep it perfectly centered to eliminate vibration.

I had a professional shop put mine on- WITH extended bolts..

+1. I don't think they would put them on their own cars (a Benzo AMG and a 911) if they had any doubt they would not compromise the handling of their car in any way. I am certain both shop owners exceed 100 MPH on a regular basis
