I might try to see if the wakefield dude can squeeze me in so I don't embarrass myself, or put the car into the wall, that'd be a hard one to cover up |

Just received word that after May, EC will be moving to a different provider for track days and may rule out private track days altogether. This will almost certainly increase the cost of track days and we will be the first to run on the new Grand Prix track layout and most likely the last to do it for a reasonable price!

Hey, how long do you think a pre-lci 335 last on the track before overheating? I noticed that Luster said some cars might not last 3 runs, is that 3 laps? And how many laps or runs are we doing per session?
Running a JB4 too, so that would make it worse right? And what normally happens after limp mode? Would the car recover by itself, and would there be error codes saved? Cheers |

Damn it, I'm out. I just found out about two major assessments due that week. Even if I could schedule around them, my mind won't let me concentrate as it would be my first proper track day and I'd be spending a fair amount of time getting the car and associated things ready. Not to mention being a little too excited.
It'd really suck if I finish both assessments well before the track day and I want to rejoin |

You will be absolutely fine if you make sure the car rests between runs. When in limp mode, the car just reduces power to protect itself. Limp mode stores a code, I can remove the code for you. |

I'm interested in coming to this, my mate told me about it he is a member here I think.
I have a Ford though, current XR6 Turbo. Not sure if your day is exclusively for BMW's? Thinking of getting a Z4 or 335 if that counts...? |
