Is next sunday work out for most of you guys who are interested in intake, dv and JB3 (or V3)? If you were to do it on later day yourself, you can just come watch or something for your own reference... if not next sunday, then... hmmmm...

joe, tuan, is that a good time?

Sunday is cool - it'd be after 1030am since I gots to go to church and I wasn't planning on watching the ProBowl (looks like it'll be boring). Where are we meeting at again?

Whatever is good for everyone else, I'll be here that day.

To note again, I have the basic tool set (sockets, screwdrivers, wrenches), floor jack, two jack stands, rhino ramps, and an adjustable torque wrench. If anyone's install requires something not in the list, you'll have to bring it (or buy it).

I'm in for the 15th

so we're saying Sunday the 15th, right?

what i want to install is:
a) hardwire valentine v1 via fuse tap. i have the "add a circuit" for the fuse box. would be great if Asib could make it out.

b) i'll be installing the OEM alarm. there's a pretty easy DIY that i'm going to print out. just will have to take it in to the dealership to have the program it. $995 installed at the dealership or order it through tischer bmw for $225 + $100 to program it.

c) install the aluminum bmw performance pedals

should hopefully have the h&r springs and 12mm spacers in by then too. they just arrived today. just need to find a place that will install them without ass-raping me. any recommendations?

Yea you have to drill through the brake pedal. I think the deadstop is just glued though. Funny - I have the alarm as well and was just not going to install it since It doesn't make my car any faster or look better I guess I may as well do it now.. haha

I can bring:

a - set o' tools
b - 2.5ton jack
c - impact wrench
d - cooler with some sodie pop (cuz ima be thirsty)

I forgot to mention I also have a 19.2v cordless drill and bits. I thought I had another less powerful drill too but I don't see it at first glance. Worst case there will be the one, and I'll make sure both batteries are fully charged.

For the parking situation, I would recommend no more than 7 cars. There's also my two cars so that would make 9 total. There's a decent amount of space on the street near my house to park, and I have a little maintenance road to the side that we can park temporarily. Two will fit in the driveway and one in the garage (with a lot of room around for jack, etc). I figured that not everyone will really need to use the actual garage, prolly only those that need the car lifted and thus need the flat surface.

Also, bring whatever you want by way of food and drink. I can go pick up some beer too.

My house is down in Kent off the 84th/Central exit off 167. I'll call/text everyone with directions. My address won't show up on any GPS or map system, including Google's. I guess they haven't updated recently.

I got the same prob with my address, but you could post a google link to the nearest intersection and that works to get people 98% there.. Tony tried to google my address when we installed his JB3 and he ended up in Tacoma almost.. (lol okay not that far, but you get the idea)

I'm definitely interested in attending and can help out. I don't need anything installed though. I've done lots of mods to Honda's (turbo's, built motors etc...), so I want to get more experience with the BMW's.

I've also installed the OEM alarm on my car, so I could help with that.

everyone's welcome to come but you might have to park down the street or something since the space is limited and it's residential area i assume...

if the weather permits, we can go for a drive after or something...
