Engine oil needs 1 litre top up

Hey guys, after a drive day I just got a low engine oil warning light pop up.

I'm not sure what the previous owner put in the engine but what oil would you recommend I top it up with? It says 1 litre is needed.

I'm taking it straight home (only 5 mins away)

That 5 mins wont have any affect.

5w-30 fully synthetic castrol ull be sweet. Then get a oil change done

Anything BMW LL01 approved would be fine for top ups.

I use Mobile1 full synthetic! I always have a Quart of oil in the trunk especially on long drives.

I'm almost at 100k km but I heard sometimes the measurement can be inaccurate and you in fact have full engine oil and it misreads it. God I miss the good ol dipstick.

Just bought a litre of Castrol Edge 5w30 a3/b4 Titanium Fully synthetic..
