PS 4S Section Width

Hi all, does anyone know if the new Michelin PS 4S has the same wide section width as the PSS?

Thanks

Tire rack says they're exactly the same.

Tire Rack is almost always spot on with their info, too. I believe they measure the tires themselves and don't rely on manufacturers' numbers.

Thanks guys. Just had a look and it looks like the section width is the same but the tread width on the PSS is wider than the PS 4S. I like the idea of the more square fitment as I want to run a 235 on a 9" wheel and a 265 on a 10' wheel and don't want either looking too stretched.

235 on an 9" wheel is a little stretched, 245 or 255 is ideal for a 9" wheel. But I think you might have issues fitting above 235 up front without negative camber beyond stock or rolling something. 265 on a 10" is pretty ideal.

Keep in mind PSS and thus PS4S run wider than the typical tire. I suspect you will be fine.

None of this will be "stretched" in terms of the idiotic stance "stretching" where the bead is barely on the wheel.
