yeah my car took the welcome light mods. I don't know what looks good, but was able to turn on/off AEs, corners, etc. Any car after build date 3/07 should work. My car is 2/08

I am down for this!! I'm also coming from way down south. I would gladly donate(to the coder) if my car gets coded!

Debating if I should still come up. If I was to get my own cable down the road. Would I be able to take the code from tomorrow, and reprogram the car again once I get it back from the dealer on my own?

Nice man. You're lucky, I think mine is 2/07. Just missed the cut.

With the number of cars vs. programmers, you will probably have about 30 minutes each. Figure 5 minutes per feature.. pick 6 mods from below if you want me to code your car.

Can do these mods
1. Digital Speed on cluster
2. Shift Suggestion on 6MT cars
3. Amber Delete - Only for pre-LCI cars!
4. Windows, moon roof up with FOB
5. Fold in Mirrors with FOB – only for cars with motorized mirrors!6. Angel Eyes as DRL – may not work in 06-’07 cars with FRM module
7. Ejection of key when car turned off (requires ‘auto lock doors’ feature)
8. Unlock all doors when key is removed from ignition
9. Disable door-ajar gongs
10. Always-on instrument lighting
11. Disable iDrive warning on startup
12. Disable iDrive Disclaimer
13. Auto Headlight Sensitivity adjustment from BC Button ( for cars w/o iDrive)
14. Welcome Lighting mods (turn on specific lights when car is approached)
15. Close moon roof when rain is detected
16. Enable/disable specific lights when unlocking the car
a. AEs
b. Fogs:
c. Lows:
d. Plates:
e. Corner LEDS
f. Parking:
g. Front Turns
h. Rear Turns
17. Disable Window safety - Allows windows up when door is opening
18. Allow wipers to complete after car is turned off

Will not do
1. Turn Off Seatbelt Chime For Driver & Passenger
2. Turn Off Fasten Seat Belt Warning in iDrive
3. Video in Motion
4. No hardware retrofitting, rewriting VO numbers, etc.

For Early cars (2006 and 2007 US models)
Some of these (build date < 3/07) have a primitive version of lighting module called FRM. These cars cannot be updated with several popular lighting modifications, including AEs as DRL, welcome lights, etc. Ask atown88 about this
I would like all highlighted to be done

Damn. There's gonna be lots of you guys tomorrow. Cool day for sure. I'm bummed I'll be laid up and can't help. Peer has a huge list of options that you'll get to choose from.

Think about the rain sensing sunroof. IIRC, once it shuts automatically, you'll need to turn the car off and back on before being able to reopen it. Might suck for the amount of short rain squalls we get out here??? No sense in the guys wasting time coding something that will just piss you off later.

You're right. That is how it works, and is why I don't have it on my car. Car has to sit for 10 minutes after it closes the sunroof before you can open it again. And you have to turn on intermittent wipers for it to work at all

Too bad I can't make it out, I would love to see the digital speedo in action, steering wheel partially blocks the speedo and cannot figure out how to get my stupid radar to show speed.

I have been using the digital speedo for almost 9 months now. It's a must!

AWESOME MEET! Deion, thanks for being such a gracious host and the BBQ burgers/hot dogs/pork chops was off the chain. It was so nice to meet up, even with the crappy weather .. Deion's house kept us nice and warm.

Justin's 2011.75 M3 was siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick. I never had so much fun during a grocery run before. I now know what my next car will be.

Of course, it's great meeting the other guys .. (Dave, Andy, Andrew, Adrian, Gareth, Lance, etc)

Can't wait for the next one ...
