335 for Less Than $100K?

Does anyone think it's possible to get new-ish (say < 5000km) 335 for less than $100K?

I've never bought a car in Australia before, however when I bought one in the USA, I was able to learn the amount that the dealer pays the manufactuer, and offer a percentage over that amount. Apparently, that's very common over there.

Is it possible to find out how much a dealer is charged for a car by BMW?

Cheers,
- SteveN

It is worth a try but I am reasonably certain the dealers will not be willing to let them go for that price.

I'm assuming you have no other car to trade in. If this is the case, your in the best position to negotiate with two dealers and best price wins. Just be un-emotional about the purchase. (its a German car afterall ... only an Italian car is purchased with emotion)

When I purcased this car, I was in this situation and once I got the best deal, I signed away. What happened after that was the other dealer was unhappy he lost the deal and was baiting me with better offers. In Queensland you have a 24 hour cooling off period and the other dealer was trying to get me to cancel the other deal. I didn't in the end because the difference wasn't that great and time to get my hands on the car was going to be longer.

Just my 2c wort ....

Thanks gentlemen. No, I'm buying (well, leasing) this with no trade-in.

Does anyone know if it's possible to determine the price that the dealer has paid for the cars?
