I love this on your car. I had the flat-faced 8.5" ARC-8 on my E92 and always wanted the concavity. I sold the car before they came out with this fitment.

That is a wide tire on the front. Is there plenty of clearance in front?

Plenty of clearance....no, definitely not. More like just enough. There is maybe 1mm-2mm between the tire and the strut body and it has additional negative camber dialed in. The tires are also wide for their size, so it is truly as big as I could possibly fit. 245/40/17 Pilot Super Sports would be an easier, more worry-free fit, but I the outer diameter is a touch smaller as well, which I didnt want.

Great! I'm thinking about getting squared 18x9 ET31 (255 tires) for my E90 LCI, it's on zsp suspension now but eventually I want it lowered on H&R Sports. How does the driving dynamic feel overall going square?

Much better. Pushing it fairly hard there is a lot less push in the front and it feels like the car is just tracking through the corner.

Is the finish Anthracite or Hyper Black? Looks great either way, though wish the lighting would be better so we could see the tire/wheel/well better.

Interesting. Isn't the Michelin PSS super fat for its size? How much camber do you have and how did you get it?

I really appreciate your help.

Yeah, the PSS is a very wide tire...wider than the Pilot Sport A/S 3 like I am running. However, my Pilot Sport A/S 3's are 255's while the PSS's would be 245's since Michelin doesn't make the PSS in 255/40/17, only 245/40/17. The extra 10mm width on the A/S 3's makes them a touch wider than 245 width PSS's.

I have around 1.5 degrees negative camber on the front from M3 control arms.

I'm really loving the look, and they're so lightweight.. you must be saving 10 pounds per corner if not more. I honestly don't think 17s look too small on the e90 LCI either, my winter setup is 17 and I barely notice the difference in diameter.

Thanks. If I remember, it is more than 10 lbs saved per corner. These are 16.5 lbs a piece, with a 24lb tire, for a total of 40.5 lbs each. It will be interesting to throw the winter setup back on in a few weeks. That is style 195 18" sport package wheels with 225's all around.

Wow that looks nice, looking to change up my wheels soon, and this will be what I do. The wheels are more than 15lbs less than what I have now!
