Hello guys my 325i is shutting off after starting. It started with loss of power every time I would shift (it's manual) I would have to give it extra gas so it can keep up. A few times it would die on me after fully stopping because it wouldn't have power to take off. Right after starting it back up the rpms would want drop almost as if it wanted to die so I would have to give it gas after revving it up for a while the rpms will stabilize . But after turning it off it would do the same. Now after I turn it on it dies right away. Any ideas what could it be . No engine light on

Was the SES lit? Codes should reveal what's going on...

sorry to ask but do you have any gas left? on a serious note, it sounds like gas starvation. Do you hear the fuel pump running?

Agreed it sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Pull the codes.

Same as above. Could be fuel pump as well, but you'd probably throw a code for that.

Assuming the alternator is checking out, you might want to literally check the fuel lines from the tank to the injectors. The fuel regulators and HPFP seem to be an issue on some cars, and for some, they literally had fuel lines scraping in one of the wheel well paths.

^ N52s don't have a HPFP and they have normal pressure regulators.
