I Phone 3gs

Hi ,does anyone know about whats the benefits of the new 3gs model?

My youngest lad has decided to badger me for one whats the difference between it and the 2g version he has at present he has software version3.0 on his current i phone

I dont know much about the phone and think he just wants it as he thinks it will do something his old one doesnt , TIA scooba

If any one has one for sale PM me

I've compared my 3GS with a 3G and

its seems a fair bit faster in operation
slightly better camera ...now with video
compass?
Voice control

Hi Scooba

I use to have the Iphone 2g and replace it by the 3gs as I was out of contract.

There are a couple of stuff you can do with the 3gs like video, better picture I think, voice control and you also get the GPS.

The 3gs is snappier than the 2g and it seems that the phone calls are of better quality.

Overall it is an evolution of the product but no revolution if you see what I mean. I would not have bothered if I was not out of contract IMO.
