I have a 2008 E90 328i that I don't drive too much anymore as I just got a PHEV to use as my DD. Thought about selling it, but with 120k+ miles, I'm not going to get much for it. Apparently if I rent it out two times a week, I can make more than what the car is worth now in a year.

Can anyone share any experiences with this app? Has anyone had an experience of the car getting damaged while renting it out?

Thanks!

I'm confused.

$30/day x 2 days a week x 52 weeks - 25% fee = $2,340

Plus parts and labor for upkeep and repairs.

Lest we not forget that the chance of anyone renting a 100k mileage BMW are near zero.

Ya after giving this more thought, I hadn't really thought about all the factors. Guess that answers my question. Although I'd be curious to see other people's experiences still.
