My first JB4 log

Not sure if I did it right. Thoughts or suggestions?

This is a 3rd gear pull at 40mph
supporting mods:
Jb4 G5 Map 5
BMS DCI
Pump 91 & 4.5G E85
ER CP & Tial BOV (not really a supporting mod, just not the crappy plastic oem)

I probably did something wrong, and if so let me know and I will try again later today. Thanks for any advice!

Throttle is stabbing a bit too much down low, and you are overshooting up top. That's too much boost at near 7K revs. Timing curve is really nice up top. Get that boost settled though.

You did the log correctly but don't let off the throttle right as you shift, ideally we'd be looking at some of 4th gear too.

Honestly i'm surprised JB4 is overshooting like that, it usually nails boost since it has isolated control over the wategates.

Was this the first WOT pull you did after adding the ethanol? Have there been drastic changes in the weather recently?

it was at 530am so a bit chilly and I've ran e85 for the past 10 or so fill ups. I did just get my turbos replaced... not sure if that makes any difference at all.

Yes. The old turbos likely had out of spec wastegates, so the new ones are more eager to boost. The tune should take care of it with a few pulls, if not talk to Terry. 16 pounds at near 7K is not what you want for longevity.

Thanks! Terry told me the same thing!

Thanks again for the CP & Tial BOV! They look amazing. I have no idea why I don't see more brushed finishes!
