11' 335 Wipers stopped working

I have a e92 335 lci and the wipers randomly stopped working. The washer fluid still works but the wipers are stationary in every wiper setting. Any idea what it could be?

I've read what little info I could find and see that it could be the wiper relay in the fuse box or possibly the wiper motor. I scanned the car and didn't find any fault codes related to the wiper or rain detection system.

If you didn't fix it already, I would guess that it is probably the fuse/relay. 90% of the time when something electrical stops suddenly, it is a fuse. My horn stopped working out of nowhere one day and it ended up just being a $1 fix with the fuse instead of $50 on a new horn.

I changed the fuse and when I turn it on it works and then when I try to stop it and turn it back on it pops the fuse

You have a short somewhere, possibly in the wiper motor but it needs to be properly diagnosed.

Did you test the wiper motor(s)?

I'm having an issue similar to this: put on a new wiper blades this morning (Bosch Icons) and gave them a test with the sprayer. The wipers didn't "park" correctly at the bottom of the windshield. I thought this was odd so I pushed down on the wiper stalk to do a wipe and they wipers were unresponsive. I turned the car off and back on and they worked when I pushed down on the stalk again. This time the wipers parked in the middle of the windshield. This same thing has happened several times today. Any assistance would be appreciated. TIA! (Sorry...posting this in 2 separate threads hoping for some hits)

Well...problem solved...and it was my fault. I replaced my spark plugs over the weekend and when I reinstalled the right strut brace and bolt it pinched/severed the wiper wiring harness. Fortunately it was only one wire in the harness that was pinched so I soldered-in a splice wire, a couple layers of electrical tape and all is good again.
