Yes. The car has been off the road for a year. Long story, big dog. Getting it back roadwirrhy and running now. Have codes indicating the vanos motor. Was wondering if it can cause issues on the way out. Like not fully opening and closing...

Vanos has no motor. Thats valvetronic. Vanos has a proportional solenoid for oil pressure control. Id say bith can cause misfires potentially but not to 1 cylinder...

There you go, pissing on my parade, Pladman. Regardless, I'll have to deal with it after all is back together and running well again. I do have a newer tune to load, so maybe that will resolve it.
