Installing e90 mirror covers w/ LED

Hey guys,

I'm planning on buying these mirror covers with LED for my e90

Is this an easy DIY? If so how would I do it?
Also, if i'm not able to do it myself, what's a good shop for me to go to to get them installed and approximately how much would it cost to get them installed?

yeah... welcome to the forums! nice first impression i'm sure.

don't take anything here too seriously; lots of opinions, which are worth exactly what you make of them. having said that, there's tons of info and more options on things to spend your money on than you could probably imagine. so, have a look around to see what's available and maybe consider dropping by the next local meet to get a first hand look at some of the mods other members are doing.

haha, no, I don't take it too seriously. I'm glad I got some other people's opinions though and I do think it might be going a bit rice. I hope to come to some meets sometime and check out what you guys have done to your car. Only mod i've made so far is making my side blinkers black:

honestly...it is your choice everyone has their own preference..but..i think cf would be way better than those ones...thats just not for a bmw IMO

you are not alone on this.
the mirror is like a Benz and most Japanese cars have this mirror blinkers too, even the new generation of Lexus have it.

I thought about doing this MOD last year, the cost is expensive.
you have to paint the mirrors usless they come pre-painted.
for the wiring, not sure there is DIY
have you talk to N-Motion? they might be able to do it.
