How much of a difference was having 2 upgraded 8's in the cabin than having a trunk sub?

My trunk sub was open air. meaning it was attacked to the rear seat with no box. It sounded much much better than the 8 inch. Genre of songs that I listen to, 8" is good enough.

I see, because I'm driving down to LAX area from Norcal thursday morning, then driving to corona to pick up a corner trunk box around lunch time, then driving back to LAX to pick up the wife then back to norcal after 3pm. Driving around is going to kill me if I'll pick this up.

Its missing the sticker. it fell off
