xi Spring Install Pics

Finally got my springs put on. Before and after pictures. I taped the fenders to get good before and accurate measurements. I will post the results later.

H&R Sport Springs
Actual drop was 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear. I wish the front was about .5 inch lower.

What part of the warranty?

It probably voids the warranty on my struts. I doubt it voids the warranty on my stereo.

Looks great! The more I look at it the more I realize there's no way I DON'T wind up doing this to my e92. IMO yours is sitting at the perfect height. How's the ride quality so far? Any new creaks, pops or binding as a result of the springs?

+1 on wanting the front a tad bit lower. I run the same setup. Perfect in the rear, near perfect in the front.

Ride quality seems exactly the same. No creaks, pops or binding. The lowering is so minimal that it doesn't affect the stock setup much. I wish the suspension was a little stiffer. If I was going to keep this car more that 2-3 years, I would have put on new struts instead of just springs.

They'll probably settle a bit in a couple weeks and you'll get a bit more drop then.

Your car looks really good! What a huge difference that made. I think the front looks great, it may settle down a bit as well.

You dropped it on OEM struts too?

Do sedan sport springs fit on Xi Coupe, btw?

I think it was about $215. I paid $200 to put them on.

I am interested to know what your front fender height is from the ground with the race springs. Mine (lowered) is 25.5 inches.

Yes. I used the OEM struts. No issues with ride quality. I don't know how long they are going to last though. I'm not tracking it - just very spirited driving.

The sedan sport springs do fit the xi. The e90, 91, 92 all have different model numbers from H&R.

Your drop looks great.

Although, you should have returned your shopping cart to the designated spot. That's just bad manners to park it on the curb.
