BERK Downpipe - 4in Catless for N55
Hello All!
I have up for sale a BERK 4in Catless Downpipe for a N55. You can find information on the downpipe on BERKs website - LINK. FrankiE90 also did a nice write up and review on the forums. The sound of the downpipe was amazing! Very subtle and not very noticeable at idle or cruising but had a great tone at WOT. Gains were nice, specifically with turbo spool and in the mid-upper range. Price: $225 + shipping ( believe this was $600 new). I am located in York, Pa Full Disclosure - I purchased this downpipe used from another forum member for about $350 and after installing it I kept throwing o2 Codes (P2CF4 / P0133). After lots of research and multiple trips to the dealership it looks like the cause of the codes was because the previous owner welded a "spacer" to the pre-cat o2  - this did not affect performance that I could tell; however, it would throw the codes. If you would want to not have the code you will have to remove the welded spacer so that the o2 sensor sits in the exhaust gas stream. I wouldn't feel right selling the downpipe without notifying the new owner... I would estimate a machine/exhaust shop could do this for $50-$75. Hence why the downpipe is priced at $225. Other than that it is in great condition - no dents/leaks/etc.
