Tawfeeqh. Looking at your 5 top times you listed on the first post, if you had the 60' time from your second fastest run on your fastest run, you would have been 0.1637s quicker and run 11.058s.

I don't agree with that at all, I've driven heaps of cars with upgraded sub frame bushings and none of them made the rear end step out more, even on upgraded turbos. How would a more rigidly mounted subframe cause the rear tyres to have less grip?

The subframe bushings do not affect suspension geometry at all, only thrust angle (ie make the car not drive straight under power if they're too soft). If soft bushings were an advantage where are all the drag racers buying up hollow bushings designed to absorb harsh runflat tyres. The only thing these stock bushings would do is simulate a chassis that is not very stiff (like those drag cars that twist up with one front wheel higher than the other)

Making the car track straight under power would be pretty important I would have thought. Drove a 335i yesterday with stock bushings, hit a road reflector and could feel the rear end waddle sideways and rear steer. Not what you want for a car doing 130mph+

The stock msport suspension is already very soft, if you're thinking that the subframe bushings will suddenly make the rear end rock hard and make the car lose traction, thats a bit of a wild imagination there.
I didn't mention anything about less tyre grip, or suspension geometry - Just pointed out that that car is more eager to step out under heavy acceleration, due to the power being transferred directly to the ground.

If i remember correctly, mr Socket mentioned he did an unintentional 180 after the bush install..

11.2 is a solid run.

drive it up to qld and we can go drag race side by side! haha.

When I ran the 11.0 (although I was at 17psi) it put me back in my seat so hard it made my back crack, totally was not expecting it. And I only did 1.7 to the 60 as well! I like how near on stock this car appears!

Thanks duck. According to coupes33 calculations if I trapped my best 133.65mph (as oppose to 130mph) with my best 1.7 60 ft I could have run a 11.058 sec pass which would have been damn close lol.

If only we were in the same state, could have gone racing side by side lol. Yeh wanted to keep the oem appearence and turbo/ gearbox setup but still run 10s, but yeh underneath the car is far from stock lol

Good luck with urs, I reckon next time you head out a WR is in the bag for you with your setup. Keep us posted

Tawfeeq, do they have a rough estimate as to when the TCU flash would be finished? Do you think before Christmas?

That makes a 10.xx look possible but very tight.
