dashboard symbol question

Does anyone know what this dashboard symbol means? ... it's not in my owners manual and I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Is it specific to emissions inspections in some states or countries?

Or your car is farting a lot.

The SS stands for super smoky... Is there alot of smoke coming out the back? Lol all jokes aside like NBA Jam says it must be emissions related

Your car was setup by a dealer for state emission testing scheduling. If you have i-drive, you can go into the car info, service due, select emissions and change the date. You can do it from the stalk as well if no i-drive.

this.

after I default coded my car it popped up in the idrive.

I just set it to my registration renewal month because I'm too lazy to code it back out.
