There is come compromise from the oem mounts. But it's needed seeing I'm in the 700/700 hp/tq.
Aje?

I've personally had problems with akg products failing early. On the phone, the customer service was impeccable. After two products failed they asked if I drove the car on the street. I answered honestly "yes." The result was no warranty after two months of use. They claim their products are NOT for street use. What a joke... Like I'm going to be harder on the streets than on the track.

On the BB forums there are MANY people that aren't content with the NVH.

I just read about the nvh concerns on BB. With this car, there is always a sacrifice between comfort and performance.

AD's products are top tier and performance directed in my mind. (IC, PI, etc) It sounds like some prefer to keep this more comfort oriented.

Here is the deformed passenger/turbo side engine mount from BFI. To be frank, they aren't in complete failure mode, at least for now. But I only had these for a little over a month of winter/low temperature driving, so who knows how much worse it will get once the weather warms up and after some track miles.

Driver side looks ok for now...

Btw, my replacement 335is mount is almost just as stiff as these PU mounts. Should have just gone with those in the first place.

Is there a difference between z4is and 335is motor mounts. I know the part numbers are different.

Looks quite different from the diagram, considering different front subframe between the two cars, I would be surprised if they are interchangeable.

Supposedly Tony @ VTT did this. About to have two right IS mounts installed within the next few days. I can confirm then. They do look exactly the same.

That's the part number for the stock non-IS right motor mount. The right IS motor mount is 22116793240
