Wassup guys, I am pretty involved in the local car scene. I also own a turbocharged Mazda RX-8 and have owned a bunch of other cars over the past 20+ years.
My stock (for now) mint 335i. My RX-8

We should try and set up a meet, I will be installing a Bilstein PSS kit soon and new calipers and pads. I just need to get caught up on other projects. I am currently putting the engine back in my daughters 98' Integra GSR after pulling it to do a but of maintenance.

Man sorry to say this but I'm liking your RX8 more than your E90 LOL. Here are some pics of my GS: Needless to say I regret selling her. I have not been able to modify or do a build to this extent since I've sold the GS. The irony of it is, my sons daycare fees are equivalent to a Porsche Cayman S or M2 car note BTW I would be down to meet, and also I'm currently setting up a website for some photography I'm doing on the side so maybe I can shoot one of your cars. I'll be posting a couple of photos of a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta in the photo thread today. My son is in the Navy and stationed in Corpus and my baby girl is 16 already so I have more time for activities.
That GS is sweet man, I learned long ago not to sell cars you love. Ten years ago I sold my Turbo B16 swapped Civic that I owned since the early 90's and I have regretted it ever since. So the RX-8 is staying unless it gets totaled or burns to the ground. I know a guy who 2JZ swapped his RX-8, I plan on tackling a swap at some point but I am thinking of going non rotary and doing a K24 turbo swap.

Yeah, I never thought I could like a mazda that much lol. Both those cars are awesome, I'm jealous that either of you have had the time/resources to do those builds. I'm a college student and work full time so theres no chance of a build for me for at least 3+ years. Heres my e92 though. At least I can play with it for now. Also my last "project"/trade in.

Nice Rides man. My daughter totaled my XJ a couple months ago so I am out of a Jeep for now but my father has a couple and we off road pretty often. Eventually I will find another rig to off road.
What year is the 335i?

Awe that's rough. I miss the jeep but if I can only have one, the Bmw wins hands down. Where do y'all go off reading? Marble falls? And thanks for the kind words, the e92 is a 2011. I just put a vrsf dp on it yesterday and am loving the difference.

Nice I have some maintenance items and wheels to put on mine before I get into engine mods. How did that DP fit? Doe sit delete a cat?
We have been to Moab Utah and all over but in Texas we typically got o hidden falls and Barnwell, out east. Marble falls is great, there used to be a place called the slabs that I loved but you can't go there anymore.

I would've loved to do more off-roading, it just wasn't practical for me to have the jeep anymore. And the dp fit great. I did the install by myself with basic tools and jack stands. Took about 3 hrs start to finish. It does delete the cat but the sound is perfect. It's not overly loud but you can really hear the turbo at high rpm.

Also, does anyone in the area know of a reasonably priced powdercoater? I'm trying to get the faces of some linea corse lm reps done.

I'm interested too in a powdercoater. I'm tired of my silver 230s and would like to change it to a gunmetal finish

Hey everyone, I've been doing lots of research on coding and have got everything I need to do it except I have a Mac and using virtual box and parallels is very slow and annoying. I'm looking to buy a cheap old laptop anyone forgot about in their closet! Preferably with Windows 7. Not a must. Let me know if y'all have anything you want to get rid of, I can even hook it up with some coding afterwards!

I replaced the rotors and pads on my 335i this weekend and sanded and painted some rusted parts.

Not to change the subject but do you live on the NW part of town? I swear I drove next to a clean black 335i e92 the other day. From what I can tell from your thumbnail it looks like your car. Anyhoo, hit me up.
